Angelina Jolie Checks into French Hospital for Birth of TwinsAs her due date is coming closer, pregnant has checked into a French hospital for the birth of her twin babies. The hospital's spokeswoman confirmed exclusively to Associated Press on Tuesday, July 1 that the actress will almost certainly remain in the hospital until she gives birth.

According to the hospital's spokeswoman, Nadine Bauer, Angelina has checked into Santa Maria maternity clinic of Lenval hospital in Nice, in the south of France. She is being kept under doctors' surveillance and getting some rest before she gives birth. Meanwhile, Nadine also revealed that the hospital faces the sea and is "very modern" and specializes in caring for children.

"There's no urgency. It's been planned for a long time," Nadine said. Further, she added that Angelina is fine and that everything is going well. "She's very well. Everything is fine. She is not on the verge of giving birth, not at all. It's not for right away," she explained.

It was previously reported that Angelina would give birth to her babies in August, but twins are often born early. The actress, her lover and their children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh, have been settling into a new home in the south of France. They recently moved into the Miraval Estate villa in the French hamlet of Correns, in the Provence region. The town's mayor has confirmed that the family have moved in as a helicopter has been seen taking off and landing at the area.
