The 15-year-old star of "Hannah Montana", Miley Cyrus sensationally claimed that she wanted to be "the next Madonna". After her success as a singer and actress in "Hannah Montana", Cyrus seems to be willing to make a big leap in her career.
With Madonna as her "ultimate inspiration", the teen actress whose real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus, stated that she hoped for a long and successful music career. To People magazine, Cyrus even said, "Madonna always reinvents herself, and that's what I want to do. Whatever comes my way that sounds good, that's what I want to do. Whether it's designing clothes or photography or whatever."
To prove her eagerness to be "the next Madonna", Cyrus participated at America's Freedom Festival in Provo, Utah, on July 4. She showed up in a conservative all-white outfit of jeans and a tank top. She sang her biggest hits and debuted songs off her new album, "Breakout" in front of 60,000 fans. The teen singer also dedicated one of the songs entitled "Simple Song" to the American troops.
Cyrus who was previously linked to have a romantic relation with her co-star "Hannah Montana" movie, Lucas Till has released several singles such as "See You Again", "I Miss You", and "G.N.O (Girls Night Out)" from her 2007 album "Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus" and her new album "Breakout" will be released on July 22.
