Pregnant Ashlee Simpson Craving Green Olives and Pickles

As a baby is on the way, Ashlee Simpson experiences what most of pregnant women do, craving particular foods. Her hubby Pete Wentz has spoken out about the craving, revealing that the 23-year-old mom-to-be has a craving for green olives and pickles.

Pete revealed to Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM radio show on Thursday, July 10 about Ashlee's craving, saying "Green olives and pickles! Green olives on everything!" He called her craving an "anytime kind-of-thing. You always have to be ready."

Meanwhile, rumors began to swirl earlier this month that Ashlee and Pete are expecting a baby boy. The couple recently visited baby boutique Petit Tresor and bought some stuffs which indicated their upcoming baby's sex. A rep for the boutique told Celeb TV exclusively, "Almost everything is blue". Further, a salesperson who helped the couple said, "They made it very clear that it was a boy."

However, Pete has since slammed the rumors, telling Ryan that he and Ashlee still don't know the baby's sex. But, he is "hoping the doctor will see something in the next couple weeks." The Fall Out Boy frontman then expressed his happiness about the pregnancy, saying that it is "really, really exciting." He added, "I heard women become mothers when they become pregnant, and boys become fathers when the baby is born. So I don't feel all the physical things, but when I'm in the doctor's office, I freak out. It's ... crazy because it's this thing you made."
