"The Devil Wears Prada" star Emily Blunt and her beau, crooner jazz singer Michael Buble, are no longer an item. The singer's publicist has confirmed exclusively to E! Online that the couple have split up after three years of relationship.
The split news comes just weeks after Emily's co-star, Anne Hathaway, split from her longtime beau, Raffaello Follieri. "Michael and Emily are no longer together as a couple, but they remain friends," Liz Rosenberg told the publication. Additionally, Liz also told gossip site Perez Hilton concerning the break up, saying "Sadly, after three years, they have parted ways. They are both extraordinary people with huge talent. Let's wish them well."
Emily first met Michael backstage after one of his concerts in 2005 and began dating shortly after. "We're boring. We play poker. He brings home live crabs and cooks them, which freaks me out," the actress said of their relationship last year. As for Michael, he found that he fell in love with the British-born actress, thus penned the song "Everything" for her. He told Australia's Sunday Mail in May, "It was kind of love at first sight, but for a long time I thought it was infatuation. But it wasn't. It was love." The couple then purchased a $2.2 million home in Vancouver.
However, love apparently wasn't enough to keep Emily and Michael together. The jazz singer has often revealed in press interviews that the couple found it difficult to spend their time together. He stated that he was busy performing on the road and the actress was having a hectic schedule working on her movies.
