Jordan, a.k.a Katie Price, and her husband Peter Andre apparently are big-hearted couple. They plan to follow the footsteps of famous celebs Angelina Jolie and lover Brad Pitt, who adopted orphans from abroad.
Jordan told The Sun that she and Peter have been contemplating adoption after watching shocking film of cruelty and neglect in Bulgaria, BBC4 documentary Bulgaria's Abandoned Children. The actress even broke down in tears during the TV documentary and vowed to help them ever since. "We want to be able to help a child to have a better life. The program moved me to tears. So many babies who are born with disabilities find it hard to find adoptive parents-- no one wants them," she said.
Jordan and Peter have met a lawyer for possible adoption of an orphan from abroad. "So Pete and I have been to see a lawyer about adopting a baby from abroad," the model revealed. According to The Sun, the process of adoption could take up to 18 months. Additionally, a source close to Jordan said that the model "is not an emotional person, but was traumatized by what she saw. It made her determined."
Jordan has a partially blind and autistic son Harvey and two children with Peter, Junior and Princess Tiaamii. After three years of marriage, the couple are set to walk down the aisle together for the second time in September. A source told Mirror that they will held a private ceremony, but want it in a big way. "The big day itself is going to be very elaborate and luxurious, and held on a beachside resort. Both Peter and Katie have taken time off in September for the do and are gearing up for a lavish second honeymoon!" the source explained.
