After asking Britney Spears to film a video for her "Sticky & Sweet" tour, Madonna apparently has come with another surprising idea. Rumor has it that she wants to succeed the world tour by reuniting Britney and her ex-lover, Justin Timberlake, on stage.
A source told The Sun, "Madonna is always trying to raise the bar and Britney and Timberlake on the same stage would be perfect." However, it seems Britney and Justin are not keen on the idea of performing together. "They have both been asked but I think both are a bit reluctant. Britney would find it all a bit emotional and JT might not fancy it," the source claimed.
Further, the source added that if Britney and Justin agree with Madonna's plan, they probably will appear on different tour dates. "More likely is that they both appear on different dates. But if anyone can make this happen it's Madonna," the source revealed.
Madonna reportedly asked Britney to appear in some of her tour dates, but only through a taped video performance. The video will be broadcast on big screens during the Sticky & Sweet tour, which will kick off October 4 in East Rutherford, New Jersey and on August 23 in Wales. The 49-year-old star did that in an attempt to help the troubled singer resurrect her singing career. A source in Britney's camp told E! Online that the video set features an elevator, in, around and on which the singer will dance.
As for Justin, he was heavily involved in the recording of Madonna's album "Hard Candy", and now the pop diva wanted him to perform one of their duets from the CD.
