Ethan Hawke and wife, Ryan Shawhughes, are the new parents of a baby girl. His rep, Mara Buxbaum, exclusively tells US mag that the actor welcomed his little girl, Clementine Jane Hawke, last Friday (July 18) in New York City.
His rep said that the couple are now filled with joy and ready to be a good parents for their girl. A close family member told People on Wednesday (July 16), "I expect that they should be very good parents. They both love children, and they love each other. I know they are thrilled."
Clementine is Hawke's first child with Ryan. He also got two other children, ten-year-old Maya and six-year-old Levon, from his previous marriage to actress Uma Thurman.
The actor, who will be next starring in the big screen "New York, I Love You", met Ryan while she was working as a nanny for the actor's two children with his first wife. The two have said that they did not begin dating until Hawke had split from Thurman in July 2004.
Hawke then married Ryan in a small quiet ceremony in New York City early this month. The wedding came just a few weeks before their first child was born. Meanwhile, his ex, Thurman, announced her engagement to a London multi-millionaire accountant, Arpad Busson, last month.
