Christian Bale Is Free After Arrested for Alleged AssaultBatman's main actor has been freed just one day after he was arrested for alleged assault. Bale came for the premiere of Batman sequel "" in Spain on Wednesday (July 23), but he didn't want to comment about his arrest to the reporters.

Police in London has released Bale on Tuesday (July 22) afternoon, few hours after the arrest was made. His mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40 reported on him after he allegedly lashed out at them during his stay at Dorchester hotel for the London premiere of "Dark Knight" the night before.

England has policy to arrest suspect before questioning what is his crime, and Bale has not been formally charged. However, he is due to report back in September for further inquiry.

During the Wednesday premiere, Bale met his fans, gave his autographs and posed for photos with his wife Sibi and his Batman co-stars and Aaron Eckhart. According to a press release, he looked calm and relaxed while arriving at the premiere in a 15-car motorcade but he rejected to say anything about his arrest.
