Nelly and Ashanti Still Together

Rapper Nelly is apparently still in relationship with his lover, singer Ashanti. A source close to the pair has told U.S. magazine that the couple are still in love. "Nelly and Ashanti are definitely very much still together," told their friend to the mag.

The New York Daily News has previously reported that the couple, who had been linked since 2003, recently went through a nasty split in April 2007. The rumors swirled following Ashanti's statement in the Daily News. "I'm dating my new album, and no one else," said the lady.

Yet, the source has clarified that Ashanti was misquoted. Ashanti actually says that she worked with Nelly on her new album, The Declaration. Thus, the rumor is only a fabrication. Nelly and Ashanti have never split.

Regardless of the false report, the rumor went even deeper when other rumors arrived with news that Nelly was secretly dating a soul singer, Joss Stone. Yet, the heated gossip has finally been slammed by other gossip saying that Joss is probably a lesbian.
