Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie apparently want to reassure people that their marriage is as strong as ever, planning to renew their vows.

Being continuously hit with marriage-on-the-rocks rumors, Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie apparently want to reassure their nearest and dearest people that their marriage is as strong as ever. The couple, who recently blasted rumors of a possible divorce and affair between the singer and Alex Rodriguez, are said to be renewing their wedding vows.

It was The Sun which broke the news, claiming that Madonna and Guy are holding a special family dinner to tell friends their marriage is not like what publications and news medias have speculated along this time. "They have a special Shabbat party in August - separate from Madonna's 50th. It's Shabbat Nachamu - which they want to do once a year to declare their feelings for each other," a friend of the couple revealed.

According to the source, Madonna and Guy are still in love and they're going to make speeches on the big day. "It's a very important dinner for them - they want everyone to know they are still in love. Em and Guy are making speeches in front of the rabbis. Knowing Guy, he'll have a laugh with it and they'll make light of the whole thing. But there is a serious message," The Sun quoted the insider as saying.

Madonna and Guy's children, Lourdes and Rocco, and adopted David, are the most important things to them. The source claimed, "The kids mean the world to them both and they are determined they will stay together." If reports about the couple's plan are true, it won't be the first time they effectively renewing their wedding vows. In December 2004, they reaffirmed their vows on their fourth wedding anniversary at their Ashcombe mansion. "Family members have been suggesting to them they get counseling. Em wanted to do something more biblical and spiritual. There are other reasons for the dinner. Guy's dad John's health is failing. It's why Guy wants to stay in the UK," the source added.
