Halle Berry thinks that her privacy is violated by paparazzi as they illegally took her pics with her 4-month-old daughter Nahla. The actress is said to be furious, thus has filed a criminal complaint against Fame Pictures to have the photo removed from circulation.
Halle flew into a rage when she saw the pictures on the Internet and in two celebrity magazines showing her carrying baby Nahla, and has denied claims the shots were taken while she was "out and about in Los Angeles." The Oscar winner also claimed that she and hubby Gabriel Aubry won't sell the baby's pics to any publications. "The paparazzi have gone too far. [Gabriel] and I have always remained that we would never sell baby photos or otherwise exploit her in any way," she said in a statement obtained by E! Online.
Unlike the spawn of most celebs these days, Halle said that her daughter is not for the world to see. "I will do everything I can for the sake of her safety and well-being to keep her out of the public eye....I intend to do everything I can to make sure the photographer who illegally intruded into my home is criminally prosecuted," she added.
Meanwhile, Halle's attorney, Evan Spiegal, said on Friday, July 25 that a criminal complaint had been filed against Fame Pictures, the agency which distributed the mother-daughter moment. A rep for Fame Pictures told E! Online that the agency has agreed to have the photo removed from circulation. A spokesman for the paparazzi agency said in a statement, "It was a poor decision to put those pictures out in the first place because they were taken on private property. I think she's completely in the right to protect her child."
