Jessica Simpson to Design Fashion Items

Jessica Simpson, who has just received heated critics from PETA in June 2008 after seen wearing a shirt that said "Real Girls Eat Meat", is about to expand her business into fashion venture. A recent report says that the Tony Romo's woman is heading up to design fashion items, including shoes, handbag, and even jewelry, under the name, Jessica Simpson Collection.

Commenting on her move, the singer has told press, "I'm extremely excited to be expanding into the dress market." She added, "I plan on creating beautiful dresses in distinctive fabrics and silhouettes that are reflective of my personal style and offer something special to the market place."

Yet, her excitement is said to be quickly replaced by fear. According to a source, she is filled with fear when looking at the dress she chose to wear at a party held in New York City.

As previously reported, Jessica has jumped into cosmetic business. She has been selling her own skincare and hair extension products.
