Ashley Tisdale to Leave Behind Her Teen Image
Ashley Tisdale is said to leave her teen star past. The actress who just turned 23 on July 2 this year, has reportedly resigned from the cast of "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" as Maddie Fitzpatrick, which is produced by Disney Channel. According to a source, the star gets fed up with her teen image and therefore hopes for bigger roles in a more mature movie.

However, a Disney's rep told OK! Magazine exclusively that the show has indeed come to an end and a spin-off for the show, "The Suite Life on Deck" will be premiered this fall. Unfortunately, the show will not set Ashley as cast member but only as guest star in at least one appearance throughout the season.

Despite her wanting to quit performing in teen shows, Ashley reportedly will join other Disney stars, such as Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Dylan, Cole Sprouse, Brenda Song, and Phill Lewis in famous Muppet shows like Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, and Fozzie Bear. The show is set to air on August 3 on the Disney Channel.
