Happy news comes from actress Rebecca Romijn and her actor husband Jerry O'Connel that they are going to be parents. A spokesman of the couple confirmed to Usmagazine on Monday, July 28 that the actress is pregnant with twins.
A source told E! Online that Rebecca and Jerry "haven't told that many people," since the actress "wanted to wait until she was done shooting 'Ugly Betty'". Meanwhile, Usmagazine, which first reported the baby news, has quoted a source as saying, "Jerry couldn't be happier about becoming a dad." The twins, who will be the first babies for the couple, are due this winter.
According to the publication, Jerry revealed earlier this month that he and Rebecca had been trying to have kids. "It would be amazing if it happened. I hope it does happen," the actor said at the Much Love Animal Rescue's "Bow Wow WOW!" event in Los Angeles on July 19. He also joked that the baby plan had been a lot fun for him, adding that they go at it "at least a few days a month!"
Jerry proposed to Rebecca in 2005, after the two met at a party a year before. They got married in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles in July 2007.
