Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson and Charlize Theron try to raise money for cancer patients through telethon.
Brad Pitt's ex-wife
Jennifer Aniston will cooperate with
The Nanny Diaries star
Scarlett Johansson and
North Country actress,
Charlize Theron to battle cancer through telethon in September 2008. The stars' action will be supported by other Hollywood celebrities including "American Idol" singer,
David Cook,
Christina Applegate,
Meryl Streep and
Sally Field.
The show will be broadcast on September 5 on ABC,CBS, and NBC. The stars hope the show will be successful in making money for cancer research and treatment. A source said a lot of celebrities and sports stars will also join for that program.
Movie producers of "Spiderman", Laura Zizkin commented for the action. "I hope everyone watches the show on September 5th at 8pm on CBS, NBC and ABC," she said. "I hope everyone is generous with their donations. The most important thing I can say is almost every person in this country is affected by cancer in some way. If a terrorist attacked this country and killed 1500 people on any one day let alone every day, as cancer does, there would be no expense too great and no effort to great to defeat that terrorist. That's what cancer is. And we must all stand up against it."
