Simon Cowell and Girlfriend Teri Seymour Split Up? Shocking news comes from music mogul Simon Cowell that he has just split from his longtime girlfriend, Teri Seymour. The "American Idol" judge, who previously made up his mind about marriage and planned to start a family with Teri, ended his six years romance after becoming "tired" of her possessive nature.

A close friend of Simon said, "He told me he is tired of Terri's insecurities. They lead separate lives, and that's how he likes it, but lately she has turned up unannounced at events he is at." The source went on adding, "Just recently, she was meant to be working on a red carpet as part of her presenting job for U.S. TV show Extra. But instead she turned up at a party Simon was at with Ryan Seacrest. Simon wasn't happy and felt like she was checking up on him."

Moreover, Simon then jetted off to his St Tropez villa with friends, including his ex-girlfriend Sinitta and his hypnotist pal Paul McKenna, after the altercation. The music mogul left Terri behind, reports Britain's Star magazine.

Back in April, Simon's PR Max Clifford said that he was preparing to be a father. He even picked up a name for his first son. "I had a chat with Simon tonight and he said he was going to call his first son Max after me. It's very flattering because Kerry Katona has named her boy after me too. I'll probably have to wait until I'm 100 to see if Simon will keep his promise. It's very kind of him though," Max revealed.
