The R'n'B singer, Alicia Keys will collaborate with Jack White of the rock band The White Stripes to sing the next 007 theme song.
Amy Winehouse who was reported eyed to sing the soundtrack in 007's 22nd series, "
Quantum of Solace", will be replaced by soul singer
Alicia Keys. Winehouse reportedly is not ready to record any music. Therefore, Keys will perform a song which title is "Another Way to Heaven" with rocker
Jack White of
The White Stripes who plays the drum. White is the writer and the producer for the song.
"They're very raw, very cut and dry," said the 27-years-old actress about The White Stripes. "I just think we could do something really interesting that mixes rock and soul together, the blues and emotion, and it could be really touching".
The first time duet track in Bond's history will be released on October 28, while the movie which is the second performance of
Daniel Craig will premiere on October 31. Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli who are producer of Bond said, "We are delighted and pleased to have two such exciting artists as Jack and Alicia, who were inspired by our film to join together their extraordinary talents in creating a unique sound for Quantum of Solace".
The previous 007's soundtrack "The Look of Love" was nominated for Academy Award for Best Song in 2007.
