Having been hit with rumors she's dating Jonas Brothers' Nick Jonas, Disney star Selena Gomez, however, admitted that she has a huge crush on male celeb who is much older than her. The 16-year-old beauty confessed that she fell for "Transformers" star Shia LaBeouf.
Selena apparently realizes that she's too young to be Shia's dream girl, saying that she has to wait for years to get close to him. "I have a huge crush on Shia LaBeouf. And I say that a lot and it's probably not a good thing. I haven't (heard from him). I should wait until I'm a little bit older I think," the star said.
Meanwhile, Selena seems to try to shut down persisting rumors which claim that she is secretly romancing Miley Cyrus' rumored ex-boyfriend, Nick. She has come to denial of such speculation, insisting that she is too busy to go on a date. However, the beauty reveals that she really wants to have a date, despite her hectic schedule. "No, (I don't have) a boyfriend, (I'm) looking. But I'm too busy. But I'm 16, and I like to go on dates and I have crushes and stuff," she stated.
Rumors that Selena and Nick are an item started to swirl last week, after a source confirmed to People mag that the pair have been dating for months. But a rep for Jonas Brothers insisted there is no romance there, saying "They are not girlfriend and boyfriend. They're friends. All of the Jonas Brothers are friends with Selena."
