Mary-Kate Olsen refuses to talk to the police on the Heath Ledger's investigation. The beauty denied two times request to help with the probe. She is willing to talk only if the law gives her immunity from prosecution before she speaks to The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).
Mary-Kate's lawyer, Michael C. Miller, said to Associated Press that the "Full House" actress has no idea about Ledger's drugs which killed him and already told the investigator everything she knows. "We have provided the government with relevant information including facts in the chronology of events surrounding Mr. Ledger's death," Miller said in a statement Monday, August 3. "And the fact that Ms. Olsen does not know the source of the drugs Mr. Ledger consumed," he added.
According to ABC News, federal investigator already obtained subpoena for the 22 years old actress to force her to talk about the case.
Other witnesses including doctors, anyone who was in Ledger's apartment around the time of his death, his ex girlfriend Michelle Williams voluntarily help the police. "Everyone has been very eager to help, saying what a great guy Heath was, everyone except Mary-Kate, who has refused to speak," said a source to New York Post
According to the autopsy on Ledger's body, the doctor found 2 painkillers, oxydone and hydrocodone which caused the death of "The Dark Knight" star. Since the two painkillers are not included in doctor's prescription, the DEA suspects that the actor consumed the drugs from illegal source just like phony prescriptions from irresponsible dealer. DEA is still trying to find out where Ledger found the painkillers.
Mary-Kate, who once dated Ledger before his death, has been known to be the first person who was called by masseuse Diana Wolozin on Ledger's death day when she and a housekeeper failed to revive the actor after they found him unconscious on his bed. Then the actress who was in California at that time, sent her bodyguards and paramedics.
