Fall Out Boy bassist, Pete Wentz who is also the husband of pop star Ashlee Simpson looks very excited and ready to become a father. Speaking about his fatherhood preparations to People, Pete revealed that he has ask advice from his dad and also read "a lot of books."
Revealing about the books that he has been reading, Pete stated that one of his favorite reading materials is "The Expectant Father", which he claims to be "the biggest one" and "a really good one". Moreover, jokingly the rocker also said that for preparation he also watched some movies saying, "Also, I've watched "Look Who's Talking" and "Look Who's Talking Too". I'd be worried if the baby sounded like Bruce Willis."
Meanwhile, revealing about his father advices Pete stated, "The best advice my dad has given me was, go with your gut. And he said you can't really have expectations. If I have expectations that he's going to be a rock star, I'm sure he'll come out being into sports, and if I have expectations that he'll be into sports then he'll be into math or something."
Moreover, still in the preparation for his baby birth, Pete reportedly has sold his house in L.A. and move to her wife's valley mansion. According to reports the bassist's pad which consist of three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a pool, spa and spectacular views of the famous Hollywood Sign is being sold for about $1.8 million.
Beside revealing about his preparation to become a father, in the interview Pete also stated that he and his wife doesn't know their baby's sexes as just yet and plans to keep it a surprise. "Contrary to the stories out there, we don't know the sex of the baby. I'm a person that always likes to be surprised, so I like to wait for the surprise," Pete said.
