Being a soccer icon and living his live with lots of people and media attention is not a comfortable experience for David Beckham. The soccer stud revealed that fact in an interview with Men's Health magazine for its August 12 issues, which he also covers.
Beckham also stated that his happiest an most comfortable moment is when he was playing soccer. "There is this madness around me, around my family. Without a doubt, out on the field is where I'm most comfortable, where I'm happiest, because I know what I'm doing, and I know I can do it," he said.
Moreover, in the interview the soccer player also revealed a secret to the press stating that he is person who is having problems to cope with defeat. Explaining it he said, "I'm a really bad loser. It stays with me for a while. I always take it quite personally when we don't win as a team or I don't win in everything else I do."
On the last note Beckham also said to the magazine that unlike any other celebrities or sportsmen who likes to play golf, the L.A. Galaxy player said that he doesn't really like it. The former Real Madrid star also stated that golf is a frustrating sport and would rather spend time with his family rather than playing it. "I'd rather spend four hours with the kids than four hours on a golf course. As much as it can be relaxing, it's a frustrating sport. My way of relaxing is listening to music and spending time with the kids," he said.
In other news, Beckham himself has proved that at the moment he is the most popular sportsmen in the U.S. at least according to the young people there. The proves can be seen as the soccer star was being picked as the best athlete at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards beating the likes of Tiger Woods and Kobe Bryant.
