In a bid to promote her latest album "Carnival Ride", country star
Carrie Underwood has just premiered a new music video on August 5. The new clip was filmed for the the singer's fourth single titled "Just a Dream".
The video itself was based on the meaning and story of the song which tells about a woman who was about to get married but left devastated that her husband, who is a soldier has been killed in war. On the clip the unfortunate bride was being starred by Carrie herself who was seen wearing a lovely white wedding at beginning before changing into a black funeral dress at the middle of the clip.
The single, which was written by Gordie Sampson, Steven McEwan and Hillary Lindsey, was first released via radio airplay on July 21. The song received a positive review by some magazines including Billboard who said, "The fourth single from Carrie Underwood's double-platinum 'Carnival Ride' finds the singer charting new territory Just a Dream' delivers the heartbreaking, storytelling side of Nashville with the kind of song usually reserved for vets like
Reba McEntire or
Martina McBride.
Beside premiering her new music video, the singer herself is still busy with her tour schedule. The nearest date that she will attend is performing a the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis, IN on August 8.
