Despite their painful divorce, it seems that Paul McCartney still has the thing for his ex-wife Heather Mills after latest reports stated that Paul has just penned a love song about her. That news was revealed by Asian musician Nitin Sawhney who worked with the legendary musician on the song saying, "Paul has done a track about how he feels about Heather and what was going on with the paparazzi because no one has heard his side of it at all."
According to Nitin, the song which will be included on his new LP "London Undersound", is "very emotional and a very powerful song." Moreover he also said that on the new track, Paul tells of how Heather has enlighten his life after the death of his first wife Linda in 1998.
Not only giving praise to Heather, according to a close friend of Paul, the new single also reveals that throughout their marriage Heather has been keeping a secret to him about her past life. "What the song shows is that rather than feeling embittered towards Heather, Paul just feels sorry for her. He feels sorry that she was never able to tell him the full truth about her past life. He feels that their romance happened so fast and so publicly that a lot never really got said. Paul knows Heather is a complex person, and deeply misunderstood but that she has hardly helped herself by being less than transparent about her life," the source said.
The couple was married on June 2002 in a big party held at Castle Leslie in Glaslough, County Monaghan, Ireland, with about 300 people were invited. Unfortunately, 4 years later in 2006 they decided to split. From their marriage they had a daughter named Beatrice Milly McCartney, who was born in October 2003.
