George Clooney to Host Fundraiser for Barack Obama
Good news for U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama as it's reported that has his back. The actor reportedly will be hosting a fundraiser for Obama in Geneva, Switzerland. It's said that only the richest, hungriest Americans will be invited.

Clooney, who recently insisted that he wouldn't be backing either Obama or John McChain, will hold the event on Tuesday, September 2. The event will be split into two parts, they are a reception and a dinner. To attend the private reception guests should pay $1,000. The 47-year-old will then host the dinner for 75 guests, who pay $10,000 for a seat. The money raised will go to Obamas' campaign.

The actor insisted he was on the fence about hosting the fundraiser. He's afraid he would do more harm than good. "I feel that at times you can harm the person that you are trying to help. I don't want to damage anybody," Clooney told CNN.

The "" star officially endorsed Obama last year by calling him a "rock star"star. "Few people in my lifetime, that I've heard speak made me want to get up and do something," he said of Obama.
