Paul McCartney Sparks Wedding Rumors

Heather Mills' ex-hubby Paul McCartney has fueled wedding rumors as he's reported to be thinking of marrying girlfriend Nancy Shevell.

Musician Paul McCartney has sparked rumors he is set to wed for the third time. The 66-year-old is reportedly thinking of marrying girlfriend Nancy Shevell after allegedly seeking out their families' approval of their union. "Paul's utterly enchanted with Nancy and he's already rolling the idea of marriage around in his head," a source told Britain's News of the World newspaper.

The musician is said to adore everything about Nancy. "He adores everything about her. He thinks she's 'The One'," the source revealed. His children from his previous marriage to Linda McCartney reportedly approve of the relationship too. The source went on, saying "He said, 'What would you say if I asked Nancy to be the next Mrs McCartney?' And she joked back, 'At least she's financially independent.' The whole family thinks Nancy's great - a vast improvement on Paul's last love interest."

The ex-husband of Heather Mills and Nancy has embarked on a roar trip across America earlier this month. They have reportedly journeyed 1,000 miles from New York to Springfield, Illinois. "They've been with each other 24/7 - a perfect way to see if they're suitable for marriage. Paul's not about to rush into anything, but he's happier than he's been for years. They've got so much in common. He knows Heather was a mistake, although he loves their little one (daughter) Bea more than anything, and won't be put off by a bad divorce experience," the source added.

In the meantime, Nancy is reportedly in a rush to finalize her divorce to U.S. lawyer Bruce Blakeman. It's said that Bruce approves of Paul. The source explained, "Nancy and Bruce have been separated a long time but her relationship with Paul has spurred them on to finally dissolve the marriage. They've moved on with their lives and Bruce approves of Paul. It's all amicable."
