Teen sensation Miley Cyrus is reportedly set to join rock band Coldplay on tour. The "Hannah Montana" star is said to support the band on some shows on their current tour. She recently revealed she has had a crush on the band's frontman Chris Martin, admitting "My ideal man is a 16-year-old Chris Martin. But my mom says I have terrible taste!"
Chris, on the other hand, has also revealed that the admiration is mutual. The 31-year-old singer has lined Miley up to perform with the band at some shows during their current world tour. He said, "I like Miley. She seems to have a sweet character," adding "Anyone we like or respect, no matter how different they may be, we would play with."
The 15-year-old actress previously felt so honored when Chris said that he's a huge fan of her. She was reported to be thrilled to hear that Coldplay would consider touring with her. "In my other life, I would definitely be, like, Chris Martin's dream girl. He's awesome, he's, like, the most amazing performer. When I went to a show, he was like a saint," Miley admitted.
Moreover, the Disney queen will also join Jonas Brothers and other performers at Disney's Concert for Hope. The concert will be held at Universal City's Gibson Amphitheater on September 14. All proceeds from the benefit concert will support cancer research and treatment programs at City of Hope Hospital. "We are honored and grateful for the generosity of Disney... and the dedication of Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers in supporting the lifesaving work of City of Hope," president and chief executive officer of City of Hope, Michael A. Friedman, M.D., said of the concert.
