Having been calling off her engagement to French billionaire fiance, Francois-Henri Pinault, doesn't make Salma Hayek afraid of marriage. The 41-year-old beauty is reportedly set to develop an hour-reality TV series themed around weddings.
According to Variety, the "Bandidas" star and her producer partner, Jose Tamez, are teaming up with Merv Griffin Television prexy Roy Bank to develop the show. They have also talked with several networks about their reality show, which offers "a unique take" on nuptials.
Hayek founded production company "Ventanarosa" around the year 2000, through which she produces film and television projects. The TV production unit lists credits, including ABC series "Ugly Betty", as well as Showtime pic "In the Time of Butterflies".
In July, 2008, the actress called off her engagement to Francois-Henri Pinault. The "Lonely Hearts" star has once said that she doesn't feel "the need" to get married. She told Glamour magazine in April, "Do I think we are going to get married? Probably. Will it make a difference? I hope not."
