Lindsay Lohan Changes Her Religion to Judaism

Lindsay Lohan reportedly will change her religion from Catholic into Judaism, Samantha Ronson's belief.

It looks like Lindsay Lohan is getting serious about her relationship with her lesbian partner DJ Samantha Ronson. The troubled actress reportedly shows her commitment by changing her religion from Catholic into Judaism, Samantha and family's religion.

The "I Know Who Killed Me" star, who is living in the Catholic family, updated her profile in Facebook and gave a statement that she has converted to Judaism. A source who is close to the couple revealed to America's Life and Style magazine that Lohan feels comfortable with her new religion, saying "Sam's family is Jewish. Lindsay has learned a lot about Judaism from Sam and admires its beliefs."

However, one insider doesn't believe with Lohan's decision. "I doubt it. Two years ago it was Kabbalah. Last year it was AA. She was into 'peace' for a while. Whatever is of the moment, that's Lindsay. But the one thing it does show is her commitment to Sam. She could be any religion and Lindsay would be open to it," says the insider.

As for Ronson, she recently revealed in an interview with Harper's Bazaar about her relationship with Lohan and how she fed up with gossip in Internet. "With the internet the way it is, once second we're enemies, one second we're best friends, one second we're lovers, and then we're broken up," she said. "Even the airport security guy in Canada asked me, 'So is it true' It's like, 'Oh, yeah, I'm telling you.'" Meanwhile, Lohan didn't comment a lot about her relationship and only wrote a short email to Harper's Bazaar, saying "I love the Ronsons. They're close to my [heart] and I respect all the work they do. Samantha and my relationship is a private matter."
