Rumor has it that Brad Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston has allegedly split from her musician beau John Mayer. Reports claimed that the 39-year-old actress has been dumped by the rocker. John reportedly told the star of "The Break-Up" that "he can't commit to her."
"There's been a bit of tension for some time. They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn't seem to have worked," a source told the Daily Mirror. The source revealed that the musician wasn't ready to take their commitment to the next level. "John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn't ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved. Contrary to reports, Jen didn't want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together," the source explained.
The source further claimed that Jennifer was sad after knowing John's decision, saying "Initially Jennifer was furious when he told her of his decision but now she's simply sad - not to mention a little heartbroken." "They have spoken on the phone since the split and are trying to remain on good terms. But unless John has a dramatic change of heart, it's unlikely they'll rekindle their romance," added the source.
Previously, Jennifer had also fueled split rumors after she was spotted having dinner with an unidentified man at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles, on June 4. Reports claimed that the "Friends" star and the mystery man were getting cozy. An insider revealed, "Jennifer looked really happy. She was smiling and laughing as she had dinner with her date and looked as though she was having a good time."
