Eva Longoria Desperate for a Baby
Eva Longoria may say she doesn't want to have a baby anytime soon, but "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry said otherwise. The actress and her hubby Tony Parker were reported to be desperately trying for their first baby. The married couple have also promised to tell their happy news to the creator first.

"Eva is desperately trying to get pregnant with Tony Parker," Marc told Us Weekly in its latest issue. "After they phone their doctor, she promised me I will be the next call," added the creator. The 33-year-old actress is also said to be getting a practice pregnancy run at work.

Marc further told the magazine about the next season of the ABC television series. "Gaby is having a very tough time being the mother of two overweight, hyperactive children," he explained Eva's role as Gabrielle Solis in the show. "But Eva is having a marvelous time playing her!"

In 2007, her husband told Le Parisien newspaper that he wanted to have children as soon as possible. "That would be even better than my NBA titles, even if I don't compare private life and sports. Eva talks to me about it all the time. I'd like to have girls, because I come from a world of boys," Tony said. But Eva is eager to tell the world she's not pregnant yet. "I'm not pregnant. I agree with Jennifer Lopez. Somebody asked her, 'Why did you hide your pregnancy for so long?' She said, 'I didn't hide it from the people who needed to know.'"
