In previous reports, lesbian couple Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were said to be getting hitched this weekend. And now E! News reported that the wedding preparations have begun. The nuptials reportedly will take place at their 29 million dollars mansion.
According to E!, Revelry Event Designers is sprucing up their Beverly Hills estate. On Friday morning (August 15), a truck from L.A. florist Mark's Garden was said to make a delivery to their home. The host and Portia allegedly will wed on Saturday night, August 16. Ellen's mother Betty was also spotted at the host's home on Friday morning. The mom drove out of her daughter's driveway shortly before noon.
Us Weekly previously reported that Ellen and the Australian actress will tie the knot this weekend in California. They are reportedly planning a small, intimate ceremony. There are only a few close friends and family to be invited to the nuptials.
Ellen, who has been dating Portia since 2004, has given her a $60,000 three-carat pink diamond ring to celebrate the forthcoming nuptials. "Yes, we have set a wedding date. Portia has a ring. It's a Neil Lane ring," the 50-year-old host told reporters backstage at the Kodak Theatre on June 20.
