Well known as one of the main cast of the "Harry Potter" films, it looks like Daniel Radcliffe is really getting into the shoes of his character that he's willing to get naked in the next installment of the flick. Baring flesh in fact isn't something new for the young actor as he has gone naked in the West End play "Equus" which marked his first ever stage performance.
Admitting he felt unsure when he was first told that he would be appearing without trousers in a scene in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", Radcliffe however insisted he isn't scared about stripping off on screen because he previously did it both in West End and Broadway. Crediting the experience to have given him the confidence to appear naked in upcoming "Harry Potter" films, he said "At first I thought I'd have pants (underwear) on for the scene. Apparently not. But I've sort of done that before on stage. It's all old hat now, really."
With the latest installment of "Harry Potter", titled "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", is currently in the post production stage, Radcliffe will still be on board for the forthcoming "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II". It was announced recently that Warner Bros. are pushing back the release date of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" from November 21 this year to July 17, 2009.
Radcliffe was required to appear naked on stage for the role of a mentally disturbed boy, Alan Strang, who pokes horses in the eye with a metal wire and strides them naked for sexual thrills, which he played last year in the dramatic play "Equus" in London's West End and Broadway.
