Happy news comes from Christina Applegate. After she had announced getting breast cancer in early August, the 36-years-old actress has just claimed that she is free from cancer.
Applegate expressed her happiness to U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America on August 19. "I'm clear, absolutely 100 per cent clear and clean," she noted. "It did not spread. They got everything out, so I'm definitely not going to die from breast cancer."
The beauty also shared about her feeling after she received the bad news when she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. "I was so mad and I - I just remember I was - I was just shaking, and then also immediately, I had to go into ... 'take-care-of-business-mode,' which was ... I asked them, 'What do I do now? What - what is it that I do? I get a doctor, I get a surgeon, I get an oncologist? What do I do?'" she said.
In the interview, Applegate also revealed her wish to start a family. An insider told Star magazine that Applegate wanted to have baby before she was diagnosed with breast cancer. "I'm at that age where, biologically, it calls me a lot," she said. However, there is no report about a man she wants to date.
Due to the happy news, Applegate, who is widely known after she portrayed Kelly Bundy in sitcom entitled "Married......with Children" in between 1987 to 1997, will be able to continue raising money for cancer research and treatment through telethon, "Stand Up to Cancer", on September 5. Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson, Charlize Theron, David Cook, Meryl Streep and Sally Field will also join the show which will be broadcast on ABC, CBS, and NBC.
