Spice Girls member Melanie Brown and music producer Stephen Belafonte reportedly plan on renewing their wedding vows. Sources revealed to JustJared.com that the couple want to renew it in a huge ceremony later this year.
According to sources, Melanie and Stephen want the huge ceremony to take place in Egypt. There may be a crowd of A-list celebrities who will be present at the ceremony. "Regarding the marriage, Mel and Stephen have known each other for many years and were great friends first. Now they are deeply in love. The two are very happy together," a representative for the singer said.
Melanie and the music producer quietly married in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 6, 2007. But the couple are ready to reaffirm their commitment after more than a year together.
In related news, Melanie has purchased five new houses in Los Angeles. "I have about five houses because I'm investing in property," revealed the 33-year-old singer. "But the one that's our home is very special. It's all white with lots of multicolored pop art. It's very minimalist and stylish. And it's like indoors and outdoors because we have a pool and the whole house opens up. Look at me, boasting. Sorry!" she said of the new houses.
