Miley Cyrus will join other femme musicians to record a single for cancer charity called "Just Stand Up".
Some of the biggest female musicians have teamed up to record a single for cancer charity. Teen sensation
Miley Cyrus is one of them. The 15-year-old will collaborate with other big names, including
Mariah Carey and
Beyonce Knowles, to record the charity single called "Just Stand Up", benefiting the Stand Up to Cancer Fundraising Campaign.
Other singers set to perform on the single are
Ashanti,
Natasha Bedingfield,
Mary J. Blige,
Ciara,
Keyshia Cole,
Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge,
Stacy Ferguson,
Leona Lewis,
Rihanna,
LeAnn Rimes and
Carrie Underwood, according to Varitey. The single is produced by Kenneth "
Babyface" Edmonds and Antonio "L.A." Reid.
Starting from September 2, "Just Stand Up" will be available on iTunes. The single will also be performed during the live "Stand Up to Cancer" telethon set to air simultaneously on ABC, CBS and NBC on September 5.
