Janet Jackson turns designer as the singer teamed up with Australian fashion designer Bruno Schiavi to launch lingerie line.
may be the latest musician who turns designer. The 42-year-old singer has reportedly worked with Australian fashion designer Bruno Schiavi to launch a range of lingerie. The underwear line will be named after one of her biggest eighties hit, "Pleasure Principle".
Announcing the lingerie line, Janet told media at a press, "People have come to me with other ideas, but lingerie is a passion for me, and just like music and acting, I can't do it unless I put into it." "There's something for every woman, and that's very important to us. I've always hated when lingerie is uncomfortable, so the fit and comfort was key," added the singer who is reportedly desperate to lose weight for her world tour.
The "All for You" singer teamed up with Schiavi to design underwear which includes a variety of bra styles with sizes from 32A to 44G. All will be available for under $40. Her Pleasure Principle line will debut in U.S. stores in November, which will be followed by Australia, Japan and Europe.
