Newlyweds Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Talk About Having Kids

Lesbian couple Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have just tied the knot last weekend. But the newly weds are apparently ready to start their family as they reportedly talk about having children.

Portia revealed to People magazine about the prospect of having kids. "We go back and forth," she told the publication. "I don't know if it's our immediate future. It's something we talk about every few months," added the Australian actress.

Adding Portia's statement, Ellen spoke to the magazine, "It's something we would never take lightly and just say, 'That would be fun.' It's a lot of work and we recognize that." "In a way, we want to be selfish because we love our life, but we know how much that adds to it," the 50-year-old host went on, saying "If they would be as pretty as Brad and Angelina's kids, we might."

Ellen and Portia have made their union official on Saturday, August 16. They held an intimate wedding ceremony at their Beverly Hills home with only close friends and family attended. The couple's rep officially confirmed their wedding, telling People later that day, "Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles."
