It's a week to remember for Jonas Brothers' vocalist Joe Jonas. He celebrated his 19th birthday at the weekend and his band scored the first number one album this week. And it will be more unforgettable as he graduated from high school at the same time.
The 19-year-old singer reportedly received his high school diploma on stage on Wednesday night, August 20. Joe and his siblings were performing a show in Georgia when he was presented with the diploma. He donned a blue cap and gown on stage and fans were said to cheer his achievement.
The middle member of the sibling trio got his diploma from his road studies. He and his younger brother Nick Jonas are home schooled. Joe took correspondence courses while touring, according to People.
The magazine previously reported that Joe has sent in his last high school assignment on July 17. To People, his older brother Kevin Jonas congratulated him, saying "A big congratulations to Joe. He just graduated from high school. It happened yesterday so it's a big deal."
