Happy news comes from Melanie C aka Sporty Spice. She and her long-time boyfriend Thomas Starr are expecting their first child and they seem happy with the news. "Melanie is over the moon at the prospect of becoming a mum for the first time," said a source.
On the path to become a mother for the first time, Melanie will be the latest member of Spice Girls to become a mom. She is following in the footsteps of her fellow bandmates, Victoria Adams, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton.
The source even continued that having baby allegedly ever crossed Melanie's mind when she looked happy playing with her bandmates' kids during the reunion tour of Spice Girls. "Melanie loved being around their kids on the band's recent tour and is delighted she's now one of the gang," the source explained.
Meanwhile, the band members also delighted in knowing that Melanie is expecting a baby. They will assist her if she needs help or advice. "The girls are so pleased for her and have said they're only a phone call away to pass on any parenting tips," the source added.
While Melanie is expecting her first child, Victoria has already had three children with her husband David Beckham, they are Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz. Emma, elsewhere, is having one child with Jade Jones, named Beau Lee. Geri, on the other hand, has a daughter named Bluebell. Scary Spice aka Mel B has two children, named Phoenix Chi and Angel.
