The controversial actress Eva Mendes once considered to be a nun when she was younger but forgot the idea quickly after realizing that they do not get paid.
Despite her topless pose in some magazines,
Eva Mendes actually considered to be a nun when she was younger. She admitted that she wanted it so much until she knew that they do not get paid. "For a while there I wanted to be a nun," told Mendes, as quoted by the Daily Telegraph. "Well, that was until my sister told me that they don't get paid. Then I went off the idea really quickly." She, however, gushed that "there is this little Catholic girl still inside me somewhere".
Mendes is best known for playing a series of roles in movies, such as "
2 Fast 2 Furious", "
Hitch", and "
Ghost Rider". She has become the 2008 calendar girl for Campari, a major Italian alcohol beverage company. She also endorses a number of famous brands, one of which is Calvin Klein.
Appearing in the latest advertisement for Calvin Klein's perfume 'Secret Obsession', she recently made media headlines as the ad has been boycotted by several U.S. TV networks. It was banned from airing because it was considered too sexy since it features mostly naked Mendes writhing seductively on a bed.
No stranger to posing sexy either in advertisements or movies, she recently told Star magazine that she had no hesitation going under the knife. She wants her beauty last so long. That is why the actress added that she is undoubtedly ready to check in for some cosmetic surgeries when it is necessary. She said, "When the time comes, I'm going to nip it and tuck it all."
