Lindsay Lohan Makes Lesbian Activists Angry

Lindsay Lohan has been rumored to have romantic relationship with her lesbian lover DJ Samantha Ronson. However, the troubled actress has yet to give neither confirmation nor denial concerning the matter. And her unconfirmed relationship with the 31-year-old DJ has allegedly angered members of a gay organization.

Lindsay has reportedly been labeled a fraud by lesbian activists over her relationship with Ronson. "Celebrities like Lindsay Lohan are merely 'Gay for Play' and are attempting to cash in on the faddish appeal of lesbianism without any commitment to our cause," Karen Whittaker of The Centre for Sapphic Studies said.

Alice Hensley added, criticizing the "Freaky Friday" star and her lesbian lover, "They never seem to move past the hand holding and eye gazing phase of the relationship." "There's no sense these two are actually in a commited relationship. If Lindsay would come out and say she's gay and in a commited relationship with Ronson, then maybe she could use her media clout for good for the first time in her life," Alice said.

The group also claimed the 22-year-old actress has given a bad name to all lesbians who fight for equal pay and rights. "It's the year of 'I Kissed a Girl' for Lohan and lots of other chicks out there. When Ronson dumps her she'll just pick up the pieces and date a man," added Karen.
