This weekend may be Amanda Bynes' unlucky day. The "Hairspray" star was involved in a minor car accident in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon, August 23. Fortunately, there were reportedly no major injuries.
Bynes was reportedly traveling in her BMW around 02:00 P.M.. The actress was said to turn left and hit another vehicle. "Ms. Bynes was driving a BMW when she made an unsafe turn and another car hit her," LAPD Sgt. Murrel Pettway told People. "It was determined that she was at fault, but no crime was committed."
"The other driver complained of minor injuries," added Pettway. He further explained that the accident was just a typical car crash, saying "Drugs and alcohol were not involved. It was just a typical car accident. There was no serious damage to either vehicle."
Bynes' representatives, in the meantime, also revealed there weren't any drugs or alcohol involved in the crash. No police citations issued as a result of the accident.
