Disney star Selena Gomez was seen visiting the Farmers Market on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon August 24. The teen sensation walked around in the market in a slow and relaxed way. Not coming alone, she also took her family along the market.
On the family market day, she wore black sun glasses and brought a white bag. Gomes was often smiling while she strolled the market's ground. She was also spotted enjoying a frozen yogurt while she picked up a bouquet of flowers along the way. Her visit to the market was actually to enjoy her summertime weekend after being busy with her acting and singing career.
The actress-singer, who plays as Alex Russo in Disney's children situation comedy "Wizards of Waverly Place" and sings its opening theme, reportedly is set to appear with her good friend, actress Demi Lovato, in the September 2nd edition's cover of Teen magazine. Gomez was recently reported sending a birthday wish message to Lovato as they are co-stars in Disney's "Barney and Friends."
Responding to her rising fame, Gomez, who was born in New York but raised in Texas small town Grand Prairie, said "People probably didn't think I would get far because of where I'm from. Being able to do what I've always wanted to do my entire life is a gift, and my whole dream has come true. To see where I am, from where I was, is just crazy."
