Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller Expecting First ChildIt looks like Hollywood star and his new wife Brooke Mueller not wasting anytime to build a new family together. They announced on Monday, August 25 that they are set to be parents. They admitted that Mueller is pregnant with their first child.

Talking about his wife's pregnancy, Sheen said that he and his wife are thrilled! He added, "She's the best step mom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she'll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat perhaps a boy awaits us," when referring to his four-year-old daughter Sam and two-year-old daughter Lola, his daughters with ex-wife , and his 23-year-old daughter Cassandra, with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt.

The pregnancy news comes just three months after the couple's wedding on May 30, 2008 after a two year courtship. It emerges as surprise judging that back in June they simply denied the rumors that they were expecting child. Sheen told TV show "Extra", "Doesn't mean it's not part of the plan." He added, "It's just not happening as we speak."

Therefore, the pregnancy news can make them very happy. A source said, "They are so happy and excited... They are in love, and this news makes things even better." Sheen and Mueller's friends actually have begun speculating about her pregnancy soon after the couple began talking about having a family immediately after their wedding ceremony.

After their first meeting in 2006, while he was in the middle of a messy divorce battle with former wife, Sheen decided to marry Mueller in a private estate in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles in front of 60 friends and family, including his father Martin Sheen and mother Janet, actor friend Eric Dane and his actress wife Rebecca Gayheart, who introduced the bride and groom. They then spent their honeymoon in Costa Rica.
