Mom-to-be Ashlee Simpson is apparently ready for the arrival of her first child with hubby Pete Wentz. The 23-year-old singer has told ET Canada about baby preparation and marital bliss.
Ashlee revealed she and Wentz have been busy decorating baby's nursery in their Hollywood home. "We're getting the nursery ready," the sister of Jessica Simpson said. "I can't wait to be a mom and he can't wait to be a dad, so it's fun."
The singer went on, insisting she has "the greatest husband." "He's so awesome. It's fun to have somebody that I love to do this with," added the "Pieces of Me" singer. And she also has family that makes her feel comfort, saying "My mom and my grandmother [have] given me good motherly advice, but it's one of those things where your mother instincts kind of kick in right away."
About a baby name, Ashlee confessed she and hubby haven't decided on any names. She even joked, calling their child "Orange". "I don't think it's something we'll decide until the baby comes," she said. "The baby is my main focus right now. We're both so excited. I mean, this is definitely the happiest moment in my life."
