It seems that Selena Gomez follows in the footsteps of her fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus, who turns singer. The teen actress, who plays Alex Russo in Disney series "Wizard of Waverly Place", has just premiered her new music video "Tell Me Something I Don't Know".
The "Tell Me Something I Don't Know" music video is from her upcoming direct to-DVD movie "Another Cinderella Story". In the video, the 16-year-old girl is featured as a today Cinderella who has to do household duty. Selena is singing and dancing with a mop on her hand, while a woman who appears to be her step mother is giving her instructions.
Earlier, the teen sensation, who was previously rumored to be dating Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, has told MTV that she's going to be a apart of a band for her debut album. Selena revealed she doesn't want to create her own sound alone. "I'm going to be in a band - no Selena Gomez stuff. I'm not going to be a solo artist. I think that I don't want my name attached to it," the actress told MTV.
In related news, Selena and other Wizard cast will present for The New York Times "TimesTalk" podcast and for a signing at the World of Disney Store on Saturday, September 6. The whole cast will be at the New York City World of Disney store around 02:30 to 04:30 P.M. EST.
