Despite rumors that Hilary Duff may be engaged to her beau Mike Comrie, a source close to the lovebirds has come to denial, insisting that the rumors aren't true.

Hilary Duff may be engaged to her boyfriend Mike Comrie, a source to the couple has come to denial. The source told E! News that the engagement speculation isn't true.
Denying the rumors, the source revealed that the 27-year-old hockey player indeed gave the "
Material Girls" star a ring. But the source insisted it's not an engagement ring. "He got her a ring, but it's not an engagement ring. They're not engaged," E! quoted the source as saying.
Hilary was previously spotted leaving dinner with Mike at the Il Sole restaurant in Los Angeles on August 15. And with a yellow ring on her left ring finger she sparked engagement rumors. The rumors continued to swirl as both the actress and her beau have yet to give neither confirmation nor denial concerning the matter.
But it's not the first time Hilary was spotted wearing jewelry on her finger. The 20-year-old beauty was seen wearing three large rings on her right hand as she left Katsuya in West Hollywood the night before. A few weeks before that, she also wore another humongous ring on her left hand.
