Instead of answering questions about their latest comedy movie "Burn After Reading" at a press conference on Wednesday morning, August 27, at the Venice Film Festival, Brad Pitt and George Clooney faced reporters' questions about their personal life. They were asked about marriage and children.
During the press conference, a male reporter from Brazil asked to Pitt, "What do you think it's (sic) better... to win an Oscar or to fall in love with a beautiful woman here in Venice?" Trying to maintain good situation, Clooney interrupted, "Brad, don't answer that." And when a Hong Kong TV channel reporter asked Pitt whether his newborn twins; Knox Leon and Vivien Michelline; look more like him or Angelina Jolie, Pitt did not answer it. Instead, Clooney came to the rescue again, saying "The twins are fine."
The fray did not end here. A British reporter also asked about children to Pitt and marriage to Clooney. The journalist wondered whether Pitt plans to have more children and whether Clooney plans to marry "and have children."
Facing this question, Clooney joked, "I am so surprised to hear that question. That is honestly the first time I've been asked that question. I am getting married and having children today. Brad?" Afterwards, Pitt continued answering, "And until then I'll be sharing mine with him." He added that he still wants "two more" children "by next year."
During the Venice Film Festival, Pitt's partner Jolie was noticeably absent. She has been reported looking after their four younger children in the south of France. Meanwhile, their oldest sons Maddox and Pax have joined the actor in Venice.
