Country cutie Carrie Underwood might be lonely after splitting from ex-boy friend Tony Romo. But recent reports claimed Olympic champion Michael Phelps looks very good to the "Last Name" singer.
Michael was reportedly happy after hearing a rumor that the 25-year-old singer thinks he is "cute". The swimmer and Carrie were reported to be frequently texting each other, according to celebrity tattles on-site at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. The two have even begun planning a "quite first date" near her Nashville home.
The eight-time Olympic gold medal winner apparently wants a great first impression on their first date. Thus, he hopes there won't be too much eating involved. "I'm not so sure you'd want to see me eat! It might not make a great first impression," said the athlete who is two years younger than Carrie.
A skeptical pal of the "Before He Cheats" singer told the National Enquirer, "Carrie needs someone who is going to stick by her." Her pal then revealed, "She was devastated when her relationship with Tony Romo broke. The last thing she needs is a relationship with another high-profile celebrity who's going to end up loving and leaving her."
