Madonna seems to be keen to expand her empire to another business. The pop diva, who celebrated her 50th birthday on August 16, is reportedly investing in a line of haircare products.
According to reports, the "Like a Virgin" songstress has invested in stylist Andy LeCompte's new salon in West Hollywood, California and upcoming haircare line. "Madonna sees how much Jessica Simpson made off of her hairdo line with Ken Paves, and she wants a piece of the action," a source told Star magazine. However, a spokesperson for LeCompte didn't give comment on the reports, saying "I have no comment on this."
In related news, Madonna's husband Guy Ritchie has denied rumors that he and the singer are planning to renew their wedding vows. Ritchie insisted that they have no plans to renew it because he has spent too much money on Madonna's 50th birthday bash.
Earlier, the couple were rumored to be planning to marry for a second time in a Kabbalah ceremony later this month. But he called the rumors as "rubbish", adding "I think once was enough. And I've just paid out on a big party for her birthday."
